chiefly on duty in Civil Hospital which contains wards for Medical, Surgical, Midwifery and Venereal cases; but when required in the Surgical Hospital not object to take duty and Infectious Hospitals of the Medical Department.
A Listers are on Night duty alternately and are to be prepared to do duty at all hours. They are on duty for eight, but chiefly do twelve hours when necessary.
Listers are responsible for the training of Probationers and have entire control of the Chinese Attendants.
♫ Listéro are responsible for their wards, for the cleanliness thereof, and for the Medical & General Store therein.

Listers are to administer Medicines to patients other than those ordered, they are also to report any serious symptoms developing in their patient's condition to the Medical Officer.
II Listers are to comply with the instructions of the Medical Officers of Government Civil Hospital.
